Shariah Governance

Shariah compliance, embedded by design.

At 7Re, Shariah compliance is part of the operating model, not a separate consideration after underwriting. Our Retakaful activities are structured around recognised principles of Islamic finance and overseen by an independent Shariah Supervisory Board of qualified scholars.

7Re Model

Retakaful by Design

Shariah compliance is embedded within the operating model of 7Re and is not treated as a separate consideration after underwriting.

Our Retakaful activities are structured around recognised principles of Islamic finance and supported by dedicated Shariah governance.

7Re seeks to ensure that its underwriting, contractual arrangements, financial flows and operational processes remain consistent with the principles applicable to Retakaful.

Supervisory Board

Shariah Supervisory Board

7Re’s Shariah governance framework is supported by qualified Shariah scholars providing independent oversight of the Retakaful model and its implementation.

The Shariah Supervisory Board reviews relevant structures, documentation and activities and provides guidance on matters requiring Shariah consideration.
